I have an offer from KGS Advisory as a Consultant to be a part of Procurement team for their IT implementation, how is the work culture and work life balance?.

Not intending this as a brag or anything - just genuinely seeking advice. I will be promoted soon (unusually early in my tenure at company), with corresponding pay bump (though unclear what the "norm" or "baseline" is for this level). Wondering whether I should even try negotiating for anything more now (worried that'd make me look ungrateful and entitled) or just accept what's given to me given the unusual circumstance and maybe reopen comp discussion once I've settled into the role? TIA!

Biggest advice anyone give for MBB is to get a referral. Usually this would be someone from your network that you know. But what if you don’t anyone. I had technical interview for Cognizant which I cleared, they asked for documents for HR round which i submitted. But since then I haven't heard from there.
Does anyone knows how much time it takes for HR round to happen and is this normal in cognizant? Has anyone faced similar experience?

I have an interview for a position that is being backfilled. While researching the company, I happen to identify the individual who had the position previously. I found them on LinkedIn and am considering reaching out and asking for feedback on the position, company, culture, leadership etc. and see why they left. I don't know this person and we have no common connections. Would you take a chance and send them a message?

I'm coming to the end of a contract term and being converted to FTE.

The offer was presented to me by the hiring manager and not HR/Recruiter. To me it is a lower base salary offer than expected, so I asked for info on the total compensation package (base, benefits, bonus, stock/rsu, etc.), which I was told about when they took me on under the contract with the intention to convert.

Hiring manager sends me an email with only standard benefits, no bonus, etc. Are these red flags?

Help! A Tesla recruiter asked me my availability for a final round interview - I sent and have not heard any follow up (2 full business days at this point), how long would you wait before reaching back out about the interview?

Products I worked on previously were sold to a new company. I am a good fit because of my experience. However, I specifically left the previous company because I disagreed with the strategic direction they were taking with the products and didn't leave on the best terms with some of those involved. I've been told that the leadership is all new people, but, some might still be there.

I applied for a job at Google, but thought it would be unlikely they would even get an interview. I am not a typical FAANG candidate (older, remote, mostly experience with small companies, no internal referral, etc.) and worry I am wasting my time with these interviews. I originally asked for 180-200k base salary since it's a director level role and I'm coming with ~9 YOE. They said that is at the very top of their budget so I'm looking for tips on how to navigate that conversation and if that comp seems reasonable?
