Does HBS send out hard copy acceptance letter?

I’m an analyst at a small(ish) REPE firm. We’re looking to unroll a pretty comprehensive Multifamily strategy and I’m tasked with hammering it out internally. Part of this is choosing a RE consulting firm to engage. We’re looking for people to gather a lot of data on various markets and create various economic reports. Also other data as needed to make a slide deck. Anybody have recommendations/personal experience at a consulting firm with Multifamily practice?

I was promoted to marketing director in April but didn’t get a raise. This is when the CMO left and my workload has since doubled and I have four people reporting to me. I was hired at $105k so I’m making decent money but I’ve asked several times about bringing it to a director-level salary at $120k. They said it’ll happen but they’re not sure when because sales are down. Thoughts on how long to ride it out? I like my job and don’t want to quit but it bothers me regularly.

Oxford vs. MIT - which has the stronger international reputation?

Advice needed - got into part time MBA but firm is not sponsoring due to seniority and performance. Tried to delay the offer but was rejected and told to try to convince my firm to sponsor me.

Took the GRE summer after undergrad and got 162Q, 156V and a 5.5 writing. After 2 years working, Have the rest of the month free as new job starts in Sept - is it worth continuing to push for better GRE score, or grind for 4 weeks and take GMAT? Goal is to apply M7 in 3-4 years

What’s best path for an MBA application? Currently at Deloitte, will stay until 1-2 YOE and then exit to one of the following potential paths:

1. Stay at Deloitte until applying
2. Switch to MBB and then apply
3. Switch to FAANG and then apply
4. Switch to a “T2” tech firm and then apply
5. Quit and join/create a startup and then apply

Question on R2 strategy. I had not done any MBA app prep until after Halloween when I got a 760. I work in IB and my schedule makes it hard to put in quality time on the apps during the week. I planned to apply to Wharton/Booth/Kellogg/Ross but so far have only competed Kellogg essay 1. I don’t have a resume up to date. I don’t want to talk myself out of applying to Wharton but given the current lack of progress and slim odds at W, should I focus on a quality 3 apps at B/K/R?

Is it even possible to get HSW with a low GPA (3.3-3.5 range) if you’re an ORM guy? Even if you went to top 20 undergrad, top GMAT (780-800), good work experience (top consulting firms+FAANG)?

Where do people usually go after M7? I’m planning to go for my MBA in 2 years but I don’t want to be in finance anymore so I’m not sure if this is worth it.

Would you still apply to a school that has admitted a significant amount of people with <=1 year of experience? Maybe unfounded, but I’m having concerns about dilution of quality in the school, network, and opportunities.

How important are “events” when applying to schools? Thinking things like info sessions, campus visits, etc. Do they help your odds of being accepted?

Took a diagnostic test for GMAT got a 550. I would like to raise it by at least 100pts. I understand that’s a lot haha and Looking to take real thing in Nov. is that enough time? Been doing about 1-2hrs a day during work week and ramping it up on weekends. Thanks!
