I feel that my healthcare data science experience is hurting my tech profile. I was being approached by FAANG recruiters previously, but now, i get interview requests from some random consultants. How do i change this? I am also looking to exit the healthcare industry.
New to United States - I noticed that my pay checks comprise approx. 64 % of my annual compensation( after 6% 401K and health insurance) . Is that normal or have I messed up something in tax forms?

Anyone have experience going from healthcare consulting to big tech? What is the best strategy?
The insurance company I work for outsourced a huge majority of my work to a third party, ontellus 🤮. I am not longer able to bill for NPNP, SDT and CNOS. I received 5 separate NPNPs from ontellus that either had the incorrect case style, signature block or date. I also sent out an email today after the 5th incorrect NPNP that started with “I am honestly starting to feel like I am on the show Punk’d and waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop into my office” continued in comments..
I do 6k backdoor Roth IRA using Vanguard. Recently came to know that my company supports after tax Roth 401k with limit as 57k... Does this 57k limit includes 6k of Roth IRA?
What's the easiest way to rollover 401k between employers? Also how does the new employer's 401k limit my yearly contribution limit if I have contributed to my previous 401k?

30 y.o. M here, just changed my 401k allocation from a target retirement fund to 85% S&P500 and 15% international index funds. Anyone think this is stupid? Thoughts appreciated!
Has anyone here had to take their visiting parents to an ER in the US without insurance? What was the process like? How did you deal with billing?
Just joined a smaller firm who uses Paychex for their 401k provider. I noticed they do not offer too many options for funds to invest in and seems lower end than my prior Schwab 401k offered. 1) Anyone have experience with Paychex and have similar observations? 2) I’m leaning towards doing enough 401k pretax contribution on Paychex to get the company match and then do the rest as a Roth IRA to obtain better investments. Any other options I’m not thinking of?
Building off a thread from a few days ago on how long you waited to consultant an RE. If I am under 35 and have not been trying for 12 months, do I need to spin it to my doctor like I have? It seems bad to not give my doc the real info but I also don’t want to be turned away and I think I’ve heard you have to tell them it’s been 12 mo to get insurance to cover it. Any insight?
Can we not call it TrumpCare or ObamaCare and just call it the Affordable Care Act like it should have been from day one. Stop playing politics with healthcare. People die from this BS.
Have an interview for a strategy job at Wayfair later this week... anybody have any insight on them?
How do Big 4 Experienced Hire interviews differ from fresh graduate interviews? Hoping to transition from a boutique firm I joined after college to the Big 4. Interviewed with MBB during school, however, not sure what to expect as an Experienced Hire. YOE 4, Midwest LCOL. Reason: great pay and WLB, but, not challenged and little upwards trajectory.
Also - got missed in the last post, but I just published changes to allow for inclusion of industry roles including a dropdown in the “stream” section and a place to include annual equity compensation
What are the exit options in India with ~ 12 years experience in consulting in the US? Due for renewal soon, but just dont feel like getting into the immigration traps of another country.

Probably a stretch but I am a 2020 grad with about 6 months experience—-anyone know of any firms/companies hiring young attorneys in the DFW area (or remote for TX-barred attorney) in the transactional/corporate space? *I am strictly looking for firms/companies hiring. Please do not post advice about how I need to stay working where I am or to check LinkedIn.
I have an 84 year old client with about 100K in GIC's expiring in 2 weeks. I want to be cautious and put aside some cash for medical bills should he fall sick. What do you guys do with clients 80+?
I am most likely quitting within the next 2 months. Feel like I’m planning to leave at an important point in my project’s lifecycle. I’m only 1 year in. Have a backfill in mind. Am I overthinking?
Any partners who switched from B4 to MBB, if so what was your experience and how was the transition? Would you do it again?
One of my employees is the only one in the firm who knows how to use a critical piece of outdated software. I overheard them speaking about accepting a job interview. Should I get them to train another employee?
I think about this all the time. I cringe when I hear people say “the diversity hire”. If you think hiring one blonde white woman is “diversity” in your organization, you can have it.
