Weird flex but ok

Uh what? Owning property is not going to create an independence restriction unless you’re so big that PwC audits your financials. That said, you may have mortgages with restricted institutions or property insurance with restricted institutions which could cause independence issues.

funny

Totally agree. This person was just trying to brag about the number of properties they own (probably only partially, because my basic math brain tells me that if they wholly owned enough income producing property to be a problem for Big4, they probably don't need the money from Big4 and thus this conversation is pointless)

Someone told me one of the big 4 has restrictions on how many mortgages you can have. Is that true? May be not.

KPMG has a policy of no more than 2 properties without an exception. Since you’ve been doing them coming in, I’d ask the recruiter and possibly the independence help desk to get them cleared.

2 investment properties. I have my house plus a rental and have room for one more rental before asking for an exception.

Must be nice

This reminds me of the dude in training who, as his fun fact, said he owned multiple properties in (big city here).

I just want a patreon where you can watch those people get kicked in the nads

like

Rental properties are passive? Please share secret, mine require effort

If you hire a management company, you basically don’t have to do anything

This person is not bragging about anything. People made their conclusions. Fine! This person didn’t tell how many properties he owns. It was a honest question. He was told that he is not ready to make partner/ director sometime back. This person decided to be an entrepreneur and left big 4. This is person is much older than 35. It worked out just fine. Everyone tries to do the best they can given the situation. It seems KPMG is nit an option.

This person is confused about that person's comment

And what if I keep doing this pmo work, where will I land up? I wish to transit into a product manager or may be program manager role.
