Does it look bad to lateral to a different big 4 firm if you’re not liking the culture at the one you’re at? Or better to just stick it out if the end goal is to go in-house.

What year are you? Market?

I went from fisher to littler and now interviewing at full service firms. As long as you have some solid answer of why you moved no one cares. There more concerned about why I want to go from boutique to full service.

Welcome welcome! Feel free to reach out if you have questions

Hi everybody ! I’ve been working in Dubai for the past 6 months as a Marketing Manager in a Web 3 firm. Coming back to the US due to visa status, I’m looking for a similar position in the Crypto Industry. Due to the very technical nature of the industry and market sentiment, there are only software engineers being hired and no marketing :/ any recommendations to go into those technical Industries as a marketer ?

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I'm a $70M fee-only (commissions for insurance) independent RIA with a generous comp schedule that enables FAs to own their own book while they grow. As the owner, my focus is to help FAs succeed; as a firm, our focus is on client service and helping them succeed. I can afford a small salary, but not benefits. I'm especially interested in female FAs.

Hi! Want to show my commitment, enterprise and dedication to a pivot to cyber. Seek advice. 20 YOE Communications/research and consulting background. Earned Security+ and CIPP/US. Aspire to CISSP, but know I qualify only for associate (ISC)2 member until 5 years in industry. Can't seem to get to job offer stage landing first role. I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's ALM in Management. They both have the same requirements (generally speaking) including a capstone course that serves as a field immersion course with the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

How long is too long to wait for a raise? I've been waiting seven years and have had 2 title (and responsibility) promotions since the last raise. My manager says I deserve it and am long overdue. The CEO says we "can't afford it" and that "there are things that matter more than money." That's easy for someone not living paycheck to paycheck (during an inflation crisis) to say. I don't know what to do. How long is normal to wait? Especially with an employee's market like this?
