He means tier 1 and 2 city. Not firm.
Also KC is not a tier 2, maybe a tier 4/5 at best.
Does the extra 30k make your dick harder when you bring it up in conversation? If not then it’s probably not worth it. I realized that my life style has not drastically changed from when I was only making 80k. (Currently at 120k).
Largely depends if you're going from 70 to 105k or 170 to 205.
Ah Chicago is still affordable IMO. 130k goes far there.
Use cost of living calculator it will really help make your decision. I live in Detroit and make 130K my bf wants to move to LA, I would need to make 195K to have the same standard of living! It makes a huge difference
If it’s NY or SF, no. NY is stupid expensive and it’s not just rent....EVERYTHING is more expensive. So fun, but I’m at a point where I’m tired of feeling poor.
What do you mean by no income tax??
Let’s say 100 to 130ish
How much will your rent become? If I was in Chicago with 100 and going to sf for 130, then I would not. If I was in Chicago with 100 but going to LA with 130, I would. All depends on factors around the actual city and you're not giving much to work with.
What cities OP?
No brainer. Please do the move. Get a solid place and enjoy life. Also no income tax.
Lol I was about to say tier 3, but tier 4/5 seems more appropriate 😂
Why not?
Yes... MBB?
Rent and expenses are so much cheaper in my current city. Just wondering if it makes financial sense.
No other big 4
D? I suppose so.
My rent will literally double, but it seems decent enough to pass up.
There are online calculators for cost of living adjustments...
