Does it make sense to stick around a full year after making senior if you plan to certainly leave after?

Maybe not a whole year, but a busy season is good.

A year looks good on your resume

Leave when you get the right opportunity. No reason to arbitrarily stay an extra year.

Stay until you get a great offer? I wouldn't turn down a great offer just to get an extra 6 mo b4 experience and I certainly wouldn't quit without having something better lined up.

like

Depends on the job you’re going for doesn’t it? If you want it and you get the offer - maybe it doesn’t matter how long it’s been?

like

I would stay for a whole year and wait until your next pay increase. Then you have more leverage to get a higher base at the new position

I went to my GE science teachers and asked for a comprehensive list of what is taught in biology in our GE classes. My goal is to take the main ideas and bring the concepts down to the level of my students to keep them moving at a similar rate. I was told they do not feel they can share that with me because we do not have our class assignments for next year yet.

SSSOOOO...can anyone help me come up with a Biology Concept list?

I am currently working in Deloitte but have signed a PwC offer. Just realized my current salary after the compensation release is $2k higher than PWC. Before I signed the offer, PWC told me the experienced associate salary can’t be negotiated. What should I do right now? It feels sad to see 2k leave me for no reason. Should I talk to PWC and ask for a raise?
Please help!!

Do you record your unbillable time? I have had conflicting responses. I have been told it's not good for efficiency calculations but others have told me if your still doing work let people know. For example, I get weird international stuff sometimes that not everyone gets (I think maybe? ) and I need to reread the 5471 rules or 8865 rules as I do the returns. I have been told not to bill for this but if I didn't have to spend time to do such things my billable hours would be higher
