PF gets deducted on your base pay. so higher base pay higher pf deduction,less inhand.Also few claimaible components are x% of base pay where x depedns from company to company

I have worked as customer service advisor in TCS for over 3 years. My last ctc in TCS was 240000rs pa but in BT the HR has sent me an offer letter of 250000 cts. The HR said that they are giving 30% hike on the top of my basic salary which is 120000 in tcs. But the BT offer letter shows a basic salary of 112000. What should I do? BT British Telecom

Is 13 lpa and 16 lpa inhand is same if 13 lpa person declare investments wisely?

As 13 lpa would reach below 10 in taxable very easily and 16 lpa would be paying 2 lakhs to reach there essentially decreasing from 16 to 14.
