Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/ Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?
Is rolled off from project common in CG ?
I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.
How is internal hiring system in CG.

Keep it, but disclose the status and year. This way it's credited like any other education; you've retained the knowledge from the cert or degree, but acknowledge that the knowledge may be dated.
The other caveat is why you're putting it. If you let the cert expire, is this really work that you'd like to do? I don't put things that I don't want to do on my resume, because if the hitting manager likes you for that skill, you're going to be asked to use it.
+1 ..I stopped putting PMP in resume since 1 it's no use and 2 expired 😳
If it’s a regulated certification (e.g. CPA, Bar (Atty)), then you need to note if it’s not active or valid. For example, CPA (Inactive). For others, it’s more of an ethical perspective.
So it's ok to keep PMP on resume since it's not regulated lik CPA?
Keep it on, unless it’s something critical (legal, medical, accounting) it’s just a con designed to gouge more money from you. scaled agile SAFe has a time limit too, why? What’s changed? Nothing
