Does job application without a referral worth the shift at FAANG?

This is my first job in a large corporate company, and I’m trying to gauge how long it normally takes to move from entry level to another internal position in the insurance industry. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow? I am a top performer, with great metrics, and I have some wonderful connections I’ve made who support me. I just can’t seem to move up. How long did it take you to move up? How many tries did it take?

Am I wrong for not wanting to be a manager? Turning 30 this year. I’m enjoying my current position as a staff where I don’t have to make tough decision and lead people/projects. On the other hand, some of my friends at my age already become a manager. Sometimes I feel insecure.

I recently graduated with a BS in Management and working in the healthcare field as a Referral specialist. I want to continue in this career path but unsure what Masters program would be best fitting. Please suggest a Masters programs/certifications that will align with this??

So I am seeing this guy, and whenever we go out for dinner we split the bill 50/50. Like he doesn't even offer to pay. But when we go out for drinks after dinner he pays. He's currently doing his MBA so loans and told me that money was always tight when he was a kid so I get it, but sometimes it's hard not to compare to my ex who used to pay for everything when we went out. Can someone explain this sense of entitlement by the younger generation? When I hear the younger gen complaining that they aren't getting paid enough when they start at 70k which is more than some experienced hires.....I just don't understand.
