I should know this but what differentiates an Officer from non-officers? I understand it’s VP+ but what does this officer title really mean?

I need valuable suggestions from you all! I want to migrate to Canada and settle the after getting a PR. I am an associate looking for masters degree in analytics or management field. Budget is limited but can extend it till 35L INR. Tam only considering courses with duration of atleast 16 months so that I get PGWP (Work Permit) of 3 years which would improve my chances of PR.

Currently working as a policy analyst in BC (Canada) and I am wanting to leave the bureaucracy and go to private sector consulting (will also do in house as well). More so government relations/lobbying. Is there any advice for people who worked in the public service that went to GR work. I've grown tired of the agency world and want to move over towards client side/marketing in house. I've only had recruiters from either agencies or staffing agencies reach out to me on Linkedin for roles I'm trying to move away from. Any tips on how to pivot out of the agency world into the client side? Should I need to update my LinkedIn to be more specific for client roles?

I got permission at work and put bins with can crushers in the break rooms (I was at the cleaning company, not at the place we cleaned). People crushed the cans and every couple days I would take them home depending on how fast they filled up. I was making decent money taking them to a recycling center. Several of my neighbors saved cans for me too.

Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any advice on how to make a decision? Things to consider besides pay?

My company just said no overnight stays unless 150 miles or more and we can’t go over 149 per night. The boss said it came down from corporate but no one on the sales team got a corporate email. It seems like this is just a instruction from our immediate boss and people with big territories are upset because this new policy makes it more challenging to cover ground in certain areas of your territory. Is this a gold standard? Are all companies cutting back right now on sales team expenses?
