Does life as a partner mean taking clients to dinners and excessive socializing?

At the SM level, under normal circumstances, I have dinner with clients maybe 12 times a year.

OP - I’m an introvert but that doesn’t mean I don’t know how to lay on the charm when needed. Being an introvert for me just means I like to spend huge chunks of time by myself.

smart

12 times a year? That’s only like once a month.

I would do a meal 2-3 times a month on average (lunch or dinner)

That’s definitely true. Don’t call us, we’ll call you.

I had a surgery for ectopic pregnancy about two weeks ago and I’m still insanely tired. To add before the surgery, I was given one dose of methotrexate and my hemoglobin tanked from 13.8 to 10.8 between the first blood test ( May 1st week) and the last ( June 1st week). I think my tiredness is cause by a mix of low hemoglobin, methotrexate, and surgery. Any advice on how to get my energy back would be appreciated.

Slalom 🐠 , what’s your WLB like? I have seen some of you posting good things about your WLB. Should I try to make a jump? I like the intellectually fulfilling part of consulting, but the overscope and culture issues at current employer overshadows that. Maybe there’s a consulting firm out there with good WLB 🥸
