Does Littler issue laptops for attorneys or do you get to use your own and log on through Citrix or something similar?

Is this a real thing that happens?

Yea I worked for a ID firm in the past where we used our own laptops. I will admit I liked it but only because I always buy really top end laptops for gaming so it was just less desk clutter to have my own laptop

Littler issues work laptop and a nice curved screen.

Thanks!

Hello people!

It’s been a good journey ever since I started to work with a team where our major goal is implementing digital banking solutions. But Im part of business team and not product team. Now I’m more interested in the digital products and have enrolled my self for this UI/UX designer course as I want to change my career trajectory and don’t want to work as key relationships manager in the business team anymore. Can anyone share their experience and feedback, what more I need to do ??

Coming from a European perspective here (so zero interest in DTC or "it's not real advertising" etc), but I'd love to hear anything anyone can share on working there / with them / second-hand anecdotes? Apparently they've been running for around 4-5 years.

The amount of people, even attorneys, who can't separate out the policy merits of abortion from the issue of whether it is a constitutional right is disappointing. I consider myself pro-choice ---I believe states should allow it, that the federal government can pass a statute to guarantee it, and that FDA statutes and regulations will preempt any state trying to ban chemical abortions through FDA approved drugs. Dobbs at its core is a case about the Due Process Clause, not the policy of abortion

So stuck. What do I do? I joined this firm a year ago (4 yrs exp total) to grow/get more court/client exposure. Then 2 more-experienced associates were hired, pandemic, & all cases are divided between the other 2. I have no defined tasks except deficiency letters or the odd pro bono case. Boss claims it's mentoring. I still need to meet bill req.

Last wk Boss said I'll do more & my work was good, but today said I can't 2nd chair bc I don't have experience. I'm doing less now than my prior firm.

Does anyone feel their practice area is fun and/or exciting? I’m a commercial litigator and yes I have a wide variety of cases but it’s becoming kind of redundant. I’ve always had an interest in business, finance, investments etc. (private equity and stock market) and was wondering what practice would be best to merge the two?Any suggestions or comments on what you find to be an enjoyable practice area?

I’m starting to feel like quitting is my only option. Any recommendations?

This is the most basic question, so yep, I’m asking you to take it easy on me when you reply. I have been practicing for about 5 years total. I have been in civil practice for 2 years. These 2 years have been the most demoralizing, unfulfilling 2 years of my life. I have been giving myself pep talks to find the “positive” spin on it but firm life isn’t for me. I know networking is key but do you have some thoughts/suggestions on how to make an exit...crying at therapy is becoming too much.
