does MBB hire off-cycle interns? assuming no in this climate

Does anyone ever FAANG >> MBB? Does this make progression/financial sense? (Generally speaking)

Hi Ladies, I have been performing well at my current firm, however looking to move laterally as an SBA at MBB. Which firms actually hire SBAs? Also, how does MBA sponsorship work for lateral hires?

Does work experience at FAANG or MBB look better for mba admissions?
