They seem to be hiring more industry applicants at the level just below or same level as MBA candidates than before.
Depends on experience but 3/4 non consulting will be entry level, 3/4 years consulting will be senior/experienced analyst/associate, 5+ will be associate/consultant (post mba) based on firm
For BCG you would be placed at the associate (undergrad) most likely or senior associate (experienced associate level), at a big stretch. Zero chance of post MBA role
I’d just apply to the associate/senior associate role, and during recruiting discussions try to see if you can get placed at senior associate. Wouldn’t bother with post MBA
