Does MBB provide any support (financial) to those hired as consultants without MBAs to obtain an MBA either full time or part time?

Hi there, I’m wondering if it’s worth it to get the CFA, if so, what career moves would you make and what positions to look for/apply? I have the Series 7, 66, 9/10, health and life insurance, did an accreditation program for private wealth advisor through my current work, studying for the CFP to sit for the exam sometime in 2023 and have the MBA. Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?

Any other consultants aiming to lateral into MBB want to form a study/recruiting group of sorts? I’m thinking we can have ~3-5 people total on WhatsApp or even FB messenger or something. I joined a competitor company due to toxic boss in June 2022 which my previous company has got idea about and have still not recieved F&F money and experience letter since 3 months.
In the offer letter it was written that I am prohibited to join competitor company after resigning but I got to know from sources that such contracts don't hold any relevance. Question to MBB interviewers. I have a couple of interviews coming up and want to understand the process better and manage my own expectations. Could you please share your personal experience: 1/ what % of interviewees are obviously not a good fit - when after the chat you just know that they are wrong for consulting 2/ % made major mistakes in case 3/ what % are kind ok w case and fit, but are not good enough 4/% that are good enough (with minor flaws) 5/ great and you know that they will fit

I found a position in McKinsey Digital for Software Engineer position in Planetrics team. Upon searching I found Planetrics was acquired by McKinsey and this position is a part of a “client serving” team.

My question is what’s the growth like when joining McKinsey as a software engineer

Would you lateral from B4 into McKinsey as EM or take an industry offer that is $50k more in TC (thank MCK offer) and better wlb? The biggest push against taking the industry offer is that I’m not sure that i am super passionate about the industry or want to commit to that industry for the longer term. I am thinking I would be able to get similar exit opps assuming I do not make it to AP. What would you do if you were in my situation? It’s a good place to be, but I am losing sleep over this. TIA

Just out of curiosity, would you choose to between joining mbb or MBA at H/S. What would you do?

At my current firm, been seeing a lot of people get extended until eternity on the same project / clients. One of the big draws of consulting was the variety, which I am not getting here. Just signed with an MBB. Will I finally get project variety or will I continue to work at one client for up to a year?
