Does MBB recruit at Associate Partner level (or eq level of one below partner) from other consulting firms? And if yes, how long is their path to partnership and challenges?

What types of projects do you work on? I work on post merger integration (M&A) but am looking for something that is more strategic / involves critical thinking / analysis. I want to get a feel if MBB has work that would be more interesting and challenging for me

Looks like a massive Exodus happened in Deloitte? Trying to staff a project and there is literally no one to staff with (at least Salesforce practice) and we are having to reach out to contractors. Is this a result of layoffs that happened last year and folks are purely unhappy with pay (not considering project pressure as that can vary/be subjective)? For folks who have been here for a long time, is this a common occurrence or is it especially bad this time around?

First year MBA candidate here at a M7: highly recommend, unless you are career switching, to reconsider doing an MBA. The caliber of people here is disappointing, particularly compared to MBB talent

Have an offer for a SM strategy role in industry. Offer is coming in at 280- 300 TC. Total experience 10+ years, 7 YOE at MBB, T5 MBA, MCOL city. Am I being low balled? Should I continue to search for something better?

A&M fishes how realistic is it to make 2X of your base at your firm? It’s too hard to believe that a manager can make $300-350k in a regular year and directors are Lilly 400-500k. These salaries are better than IB. Why don’t people from MBB move to A&M if pay is that great. Very curious to get an inside scoop.
