I’m hiring for a strategy role at Mars-Wrigley, based in Chicago. Ideal candidate is someone who’s been in consulting for ~2 years and enjoys the work they do, but wants to work fewer hours (for comparable pay). It’s a great company and team, and we’re growing! Link to apply below.

Any rpa developer here ?
What does littler pay 4th years in Miami?

It happens but it isn't super common. Definitely tougher in this economy since we will have more than enough talent from on campus hires to fill need. I've only ever seen people come in as AC1s and they typically have 2-4 years work experience.

what was the process like?
Yes. Not right now, but generally we do.

Yes. We had a pretty killer recruiting year and had turned off most lateral channels for 2020 before the COVID crisis.
Do you guys think it’s worth it to “step back” a year? Approaching a year at a tier 2 consulting firm. Made it to final rounds for two of the mbbs in undergrad so should hopefully still have contacts / be able to get an interview
I would. Consultants know Tier 2s well, but majority of the non-business world (even some FAANG roles) know MBB far better.
I think it’s the most common at McK, least at Bain and not likely at any in the current climate
Yes. At McK you’re better off being 2+ years out of undergrad though because then you can join as an associate and get double the pay 😉

I’m very involved in recruiting and interact with both BA and ASC candidates. The guidance, things we’re looking for, prep, etc do not change. Now obviously for the PEI we’d expect a different conversation about impact and leadership from someone who’s worked and such than from someone who’s just coming out of school, but the things we actually look for and how we measure them don’t change.
