Sorry why S&? I ask because it's perplexing me and I'm from PwC...

like

Btw, they hire from top 20 but the number of people they hire from each school varies, meaning, the higher the school, the more they're gonna take per year.

like

Op: the on-campus recruiting process is focused on core schools only. For lateral hires, it’s more about the quality of your work experience.

like

The reason being that comp is actually somewhat competitive at & would be my guess..

like

@P1 is wrong. Our #1 school by headcount is Columbia

like

Core schools are Columbia, Kellogg, Booth, Stern, Wharton, Darden, HBS, some Texas (in order of volume) Definitely possible to come in as an experienced hire, we’re doing a big hiring push right now.

strategy & - what’s the salary range and compensation package for an experienced hire? Retirement benefits, bonuses?

Although, it's suprisingly that S& doesn't recruit at Cornell and CMU

Pwc2 hit the nail on the head. I don’t go to a top mba program, but have strong work experience. Hoping to gain some insight from people that actually work there and see if it’s rare.

S& looks primarily at work experience so you could be lucky if you have what they're looking for.

If you’re looking at strategy work then yes 100%

Do*

Depends on role. The data on Glassdoor is mostly right.

Sorry* the top 20 comment was about MBB.

I don’t think it’s a selectivity thing. There are lots of great schools. I think it’s about narrowing investment to increase impact (we’re not that big). I think we should have more presence with at least one west coat school for example. We took an MBA from Minnesota last year.
