To summarize, 1/3 of the Big 10 athletes who tested positive for COVID had inflamed heart muscles which can lead to death during strenuous exercise.
Yet some people still want college and high school sports to proceed as normal. We'd literally have our kids dying on the field for our entertainment.

Be ruthless about recording as you work, every day AND delegating any nonbillable tasks.

This. Delegate delegate.

I feel like it got harder as I was expected to do more of the administrative and business development stuff they expect from senior associates and partners.
It gets easier as you learn how to efficiently capture your time. I used to write down everything by hand and then enter my time at the end of the week - I lost so much time! Now I bill as I go. But just because it gets easier doesn't mean it gets easy!

The more experience you have, the more trust you build, which in turn means way more work. Hitting my billables is not the problem. Its having balance. Can I work out? Take that vacation while keeping normal healthy hours. Can I leave early for a kid function....
Try going through your emails and adding i time you may not have been recording consistently, if you round up then round up (as opposed to "pausing" and resuming a timer). Some people find they capture time more optimally with paper vs with a timer system, so maybe try switching up your methods. People also have different policies on bathroom breaks or other breaks less than 0.1 or when you're switching between multiple matters in a given hour you'll probably get more than 1.0 out of that hour
If you find yourself losing time between tasks, consider taking time at the end of the day to make a to do list for the following day. That way you can more seamlessly transition between tasks.

I have a running bullet list for all my matters with a to do list. I update daily to add more things or to change item from draft to follow up on draft. I am able to know where I am at on my cases by looking at that list. It keeps my transition between tasks somewhat smooth.
Yep, gets easier to hit hours with more responsibility. Harder to maintain balance, though.
