Does your military background carry any technical skills that carry over? If not, I don't see how it can help other than you should have a higher maturity level and that should help you do well in your work in general.
I know plenty of veterans at RSM but they just start out like anyone who is fresh out of college.

To be clear, the military service. They will not thank you for the OT in PA.
It won’t help in terms of starting salary or position unless there are specific skills that carry over. However there are a lot of soft skills from my military career that have helped me advance quicker than I would have if I were coming in straight from college without that experience.
I can’t speak to anything specifically but I can’t imagine it hurting
It helps, but it’s not 1-1. They’ll likely start you at senior associate. Normally 6 years of experience in public accounting would be a manager, so you’re technically taking a hit, but if you demonstrate good performance and capability to operate at the manager level, they may early promote you to manager.

Depends on what you do. If you do GPS and have military connections then you could do okay. Also depends on if you have transferable skills from the military
I know a vet who did data analytics for the military and settled down nicely at Deloitte doing work similar to what he did before
Aren't there incentives for companies to hire veterans? If there are, it might help in that regard.

Work opportunity tax credits for unemployed disabled veterans or unemployed veterans who recently completed service.
I started as a staff like everyone else and I felt at a disadvantage because I was older and never had the intern experience.
Interning at any Big 4 really helps get that leg up at the staff levels.

We hire plenty of military vets. No, you’re 6 years of experience won’t translate 1:1 to PA or industry but there are certainly positives that it can bring to the table.
