Best brand of bread?
You can use your hands instead of feet to pedal the bike
The peloton subscription comes with full body workouts too. So I guess it’s a two for one with that option
There’s rides where you can do dumbbell training on your arms so you can kind of hit them both together
Like the other commenter said- there’s a full library of body weight training targeting every muscle group so you can use the same subscription for all your workout needs but the bike itself probably wont get you there
First, a regular cycling ride works my core and triceps as well as my legs. Core is stability and triceps because I tend to lean forward on to the handles.
Next, we have a set of 5lb and 10lb weights. The HIIT classes use the weights and will WRECK you. There are non-HIIT classes that use the weights as well. All classes are challenging AF.
100% agree on this. I also recommend doing a free trial and seeing if you like the way instructors teachers do their classes. Even if you don’t have weights, I find the body weight strength/cardio class to be really tough. I got the bike and as much as I love it, I was so surprised about how good the peloton strength classes were too!
Do you have any issues getting motivated to actually go to a gym? If not, join a gym and sign up for the digital peloton subscription for $12/month to give you some structure to the workouts you do at the gym. They have great strength training classes and that would be cheaper than paying for a trainer. If you find you don’t like it, quit the gym and buy a Peloton, some weights and do everything from home.
Cycling should only be one/two days of your routine. Bodyweight workouts, running, yoga, etc are needed to keep the whole body healthy
