Currently a local gov lawyer (was a prosecutor before that). Live in a small market where government contractors are the big employer for the community. Eventually I’ll make decent money in my role but I find myself getting impatient as friends w/o law degrees make more money than me as like subcontracts administrators with room to climb the corp ladder. Sometimes I think about leaving for this. No loans, will never do big law. Just tired of not being able to buy a decent house. Am I crazy?
