Also...4 inches at an office? Are you supposed to look like you're about to get bent over the desk for an afternoon quickly?
Are you serious? Well in that case the men should also be upheld to the same standards.
PwC pays for knees and hip replacement as retirement benefits package?
Story in the news today. A temp at PWC London didn't wear high heels at work. She was sent home unpaid. They have a dress code rule women have to wear heels 2-4 inches.
We definitely don't have those rules here on the US side
Umm that's called a lawsuit
Well the article says that it was a staffing company rule and not a PWC rule... That makes more sense (that a staffing company would have stupid dress code rules versus PWC).
My flats have pride. I don't know what you're talking about ^
Associate 1 has a stick up her ass. I know. I saw it.
Wait what?..,High heels??!!
Jeez! That sounds harsh
Wow, so glad our office did not have this rule. I wear jeans and flats all week to the office. As long as you get your job done right!
I feel like that's asking to get sued in the U.S.
I agree with PwC4 - I am walking around quite a bit talking to clients and getting shit done. I'm standing more than I'm sitting so flats are more comfortable for what I'm doing. I take pride in what I wear too and don't have to wear heels to be considered well put together. Sorry you sit at your computer every day. Does anyone really notice your shoes that it's a topic piece on a daily basis?
Women wouldn't press their ignorant opinions on others. So enjoy your heels girl
Never said I couldn't handle wearing heels. I just prefer them not constantly take a beating every day and require the tips to be replaced more frequently. There's no need to judge women who choose to wear flats over heels or heels over flats. Everyone has their own preference Associate 1 and just because some of us like flats better doesn't mean we aren't taking pride in our attire to work. No need to start saying women can't handle it or that we're lazy for it. Everyone has their preference and wearing heels everyday over flats doesn't make anyone superior to another. You take pride in wearing heels, no one is judging you for that but don't berate the rest of us for wearing flats because we feel more comfortable in them
I wish I could up vote comments more than once 😂😂😂👏🏻
Yes that's asking to get sued here but like EY2 pointed out, the article further stated that it was not a PwC rule but the staffing company. It's just unfortunate PwC is getting dragged into it because that's where it occurred at.
I wear heels to work. If you can't handle 2-4 inches, then I don't know what to tell you. Excuse me if I take pride in the attire I wear. I can't stand those ballerina flats- to me that's just the lazy way out. Besides, it's not like we're standing hours for day
Excuse me, but I also stand around and can handle my heels. I guess some women know how to handle them. Sorry you can't.
