does senior data analyst necessarily make less than DS? I always want to be a DS, but as I research more I realize DS might also wear the hat of business analyst. The constant interaction in workshops and presentation to other stakeholders are not what I most comfortable in doing. So that makes me wonder, what if I should stay in the DA path to be a senior... But on the other hand, I'm very keen on learning the ML part... still need to sharpen my programming skills tho.

I’ve worked as a Marketing Manager for smaller companies for the past 2 years. I’ve done a little bit of everything from graphic design to Google ads you name it. I’d like to transition to a corporate role but all positions are really specific. I wouldn’t say I am a specialist at anything particular. What marketing roles should I be going after? Any thoughts.

I graduated with a degree in Business in 2018. I’m planning to pursue a Masters in Engineering (likely will pair with MBA) and have been taking the required pre-reqs over the last year from community college.

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.

Is anyone familiar with average or competitive salaries for business planning and analysis? I’m the sole manager/employee of my function for a midsize IT firm in thE OC of SoCal. I wear many hats outside my direct duties and help keep our entire Business Unit/Commercial Side running smoothly (about 15 of us total).
