Applied several times to Investment Banking at the Director/MD level at many of the Top 10 to Top15 investment banks. Most times, the status doesn't change or even when it changes, I have never gotten a phone screen. I have got 15+ experience with 5 in banking and 10 in Consulting - Financial Advisory (M&A / Corp Fin). Work at a small boutique and came to the US from Africa in 2012. I've given up on Big 4 positions as I sense biases in screening.

Waze needs to implement statuses within the app. You earn points currently for reporting road situations (construction, weather, cops, hazards, etc). They should have level thresholds you unlock by earning X points from reporting conditions. The higher the status, 1) the greater the priority you get for faster routes and 2) the larger the impact of your condition reports / condition confirmations or rejections on other users’ reports.
