Are any of you being treated differently by friends and family because you’re taking care of positive and PUI Covid patients? I almost feel like it’s a crime bring an RN right now. No one will come near me. All my family that lives out of state cancelled my summer vacation trips to come see them. The family that lives close by me won’t let me In their houses. I’m feeling so alone and very isolated.

Caught covid and 1 week in. I'm very fortunate and my symptoms are relatively mild. I took the Regeneron antibodies and it does certainly seem to be an amazing treatment. As I have learned more, it seems that everyone I can find who took it has experienced fewer and less severe symptoms and a shorter duration overall. I have also been a strict and aggressive vitamin regimen from day 2.

If you catch covid, I encourage you to speak with you doctor about this quickly in the process.

Good luck!

I was diagnosed with major depression around 4 years ago. Told I’d have to be on antidepressants for 3-5 years. Sometimes I have severe depressive episodes. Recently it’s been impacting my work performance. I’ve also started taking more sick days as a coping mechanism since being at work seems to make it worse, especially granted I’m working with a d*ck of a manager. Always been a high performer (before this period, which really sucks). Really want to quit but don’t have a new job yet.Advice pls

Does McKinsey really work in implementation or only Digital Strategy?

I quit drinking at the first of the year because I was drinking too much as a way to cope with Covid. 99.9% of the time, I’m glad I quit drinking. And then there are those nights when I just want a glass of something to take the edge off, which makes me think alcohol was more of a coping mechanism than I thought and it’s probably a good thing I’m not drinking. I don’t even like wine very much, but I miss that low level buzz that makes everything a little less loud.

Some context: Yesterday morning managing attorney comes in legitimate screaming at me because I forgot (for the first time in over a year of employment) to lock the door when I arrived, he then brings up something that happened earlier in the week where I didn’t get clients payment info, instead emailed assistant to run payment since I’ve never been taught how to accept payment.

It’s so frustrating when the partners aren’t straightforward with me on what’s going on. I haven’t been assigned to any cases in months and months with one of our big clients who I worked regularly with in the past and I think their general counsel has a problem with me and has blackballed me, but nobody is being honest with me. I suppose I need to schedule a meeting with a partner and point blank ask what’s going on?
