Hi Fishes
In spite of having applied for many jobs at Citi (including the referrals), I have not got any calls from Citi.
I do not understand what's wrong with my profile ! I do get calls from other Captives but not from the Citi.
Are there any hacks to get calls from Citi ? Citi @citibank

30/hour is pretty lower especially for a senior strategist. If it was FTE it’d be $62k.
Your rate should be hire for freelance anyway. I can’t speak to your trade, but senior creatives can pull $1,000/day.
I also don’t know what market you’re in. So that’s a factor as well.
Sorry for the typos! Wrote this while watching TV.
This hourly rate seems low for a senior strategist. When I started freelancing, I started at $60/hr.
Outside of that, I’m not a fan of hourly rates while freelancing except if I use a hybrid model (“our agency’s hourly rate is X and the project rate is Y, hours for this project are tracked. Anything outside of that will be billed at the agency hourly rate.”).
Finally, keep in mind that you will have to pay for your own benefits and self employment taxes. So you will be getting much less than $30/hr.
Also, keep in mind that if they are hiring you at $30/hr they value you and/or the role at that price. It may be hard to get agreement and properly implement your strategy if they view it or the worth to them as low value. It’s always better to come at the position as valued partner when freelancing.

I made $30/hour as a junior freelancer 22 years ago. You’re getting robbed.
$30/hour after taxes in most states is $~18.00.
At $30/hour getting out of bed after one calculated the net income gets awfully hard to do.

Red flag client. Really low rate
You had to provide a cover letter for a freelance gig? That and the rate, red flags abound.
As a senior strat you should be pulling around 1000/day
