That sounds pretty good. If you take that do not feel “what if” or any regrets.

Next question is are you happy with the team and is there career progression.

$300k base and bonus is great. The RSUs seem lite so there may be room to negotiate there. Obviously, very hard to say that without knowing the company as stock/equity in one place can be very different from another - if it’s blue chip then you’re pretty solid. If it’s more volatile I’d want more.

Overall I think it’s solid and doubt the comp will be your determining factor on this decision. Likely the work, team, etc as others have said.

It’s overall a great offer. What does 30% LTI amount to - 70k/year? Then your TC is around $370k and that is really good.
It also depends on what level you are targeting. What is the level for this role? You can go for Director or SD if moving in the same industry with this experience.

Playing devil's advocate: At 4 years post MBA in T2 you should be seeing 280-320 TC (senior manager equivalent) adding two years to it, should be close to 375-400 at 6YoE.

So TC is "on par" IMHO but I'm hoping the WLB is 20-30% better than T2 to ensure it's a right fit. Do you know anything about expected WLB?

Good luck! Congrats 🎉

Had the exact same opinion. Good offer if not in a T1 city and assuming better WLB. Outside of NYC/SF, 375k is nothing to sneeze at.

If you were at $100k at 27 yrs old, no debt, working 40 hrs/week but only have ~4 hrs of work/day and checking emails/doing what you want, remote, could disappear for 4 hrs straight and no one would notice, but the next step in career is to take the patent bar to become a patent agent and that involves maybe 70+hr week, working nights and weekends, going in office, for maybe only a $25-40k salary increase - how soon would you take the next step? I won’t stay forever, but it’s nice to coast a bit

Was speaking with someone in another industry, and they said it’s standard when they change jobs that the new company covers the cost of Cobra for the gap in insurance coverage (separate from any signing bonus). Was shocked we don’t. I never thought to ask for this. Seems like something we could make SOP if we all start asking for it like we expect it.
