Does Thursday night dinner expense have to occur in the airport?

I have 6 years admin experience (of that 3 years involved light accounts payable work) and 1 year nonprofit accounting doing billing and expense reporting. In in my early 30s. What pay should I expect for a entry level financial analyst? What is the highest you think I can reasonably ask for?

Got the per diem job. Nice pay. Signed the offer. But they put addendum. 24 hr weekend day shift once a month and 1 overnight call twice a month and 3x 10 hr shift per week. I was looking for flexibility for my young kids. While my wife works 3x12s. I’m aware of some weekend day shift but not 24hr. The overnight call also was a surprise. Contemplating.

Ok more ridiculousness on EY expense - all my charges for "Starbucks reload" were rejected. This is not a reimbursable expense any more, only actuals can be expensed. I had 3 reloads for $10

When you make an offer on home what all cost you ask the seller. I am asking 3% closing, deep cleaning, 1 yr warranty on appliances. The closing in MD runs into 12-15k which is major expense so does asking seller to pay is normal practice. How long a builder installed carpet and appliances generally last assuming normal wear and tear. In 10-15 yr old house i believe most of these needs a new replacement

Late night thoughts - I cannot figure out when to throw in the towel on consulting. I just switched to a Big 4 role two weeks ago and I feel like my stress has shot up significantly. I hate traveling for work and I want a role with good WLB. I know two weeks is nothing and I feel like a failure for giving up so easily but I feel I'm just not made out for this kind of life. Should I just suck it up and stick it out for two more years for the exit opps?
