Right now I am in notice period and don't have any offer in hand
But I inform to my manager I have a offer with x amount and he agreed to match it
Right now I am going for a call with HR
If they ask do I have any offer in my hand then what should I answer them
Will HR ask for the offer latter which I have?
Fact - I don't have any offer in hand right now

Curious questions! What are the things offered by companies after laying off their employees? Do they pay 3 months severance? Or not?

I am a first year associate and was asked to come up with 3-5 goals for the upcoming year. I have no idea how to set goals, however, given my work stream seems to be at the whims of our assignment coordinator. IEP, 504, and those without internet will return in-person next week while rest of students remain remote. Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. They are saying it’s a liability issue if they have one student in the room with them, even though teaching other via Zoom. Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?
