USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI
Hi!! I’ve spent the last four months trying to land a job as a healthcare analyst/consultant and I’ve not been successful thus far. I’m a published author of two manuscripts at ACS, have experience in both clinical and basic science research, have worked in the field as a EMT and have many other experiences that will allow me excel. I’ve applied to @LEK ZS Associates Mercer and many more companies. Id so appreciate anyones help in this process. Thank you in advance!!

Are you the same data scientist who thinks most 26 years olds have $400-$800k in savings?
Lol.
The majority of companies don’t pay the full cost of healthcare because insurance costs have skyrocketed over the last 10-15 years. Suggest you do a little research in this area, especially understand what the true cost of your insurance is.

This is very rare for a company to cover 100% of insurance. Usually it’s just subsidized and still super expensive

My daughter works at Chik fil A and is openly gay. Loves the team, no problems at work at all. The company doesn't care at all. She was open in the interview and said the manager didn't care a bit.

Companies paying 100% of healthcare costs are the extreme exception to the rule. I’ve never worked for a company, nor had a company as a client, who had this policy.

$5 dollar co pay to have a baby (and pretty much anything else) with no out of pocket for premiums. It’s the closest thing to having socialized medicine that you can find in the US - better probably since you have a good selection of doctors to pick from.
sadly you are not in the driver’s seat on this and most other issues as an employee in America. Not even if you are in a union job. co-pay and deductibles are a thing. until healthcare becomes a constitutional right…
This could vary a lot depending on the country
