I was hired 4 months back for specific project , was working from very 1 week of hire, now i am going to move to bench. Though i am happy but i also very worried as how much time it take to find next project, if i will get project as per tech i want to work.

Yup. Though because some collaboration is needed and meetings happen, it is usually a set pattern. Otherwise totally flexible. Just get the work done and you are fine to go.
We get overtime pay if we work beyond our designated work hours or on weekends.
Yes, but the caveat of meetings is there. Plus can't be on obscure hours as compared to the rest of the team - due to collaboration required for some tasks/deliverables.
Right, for example i can't be saying i will work from 6 am to 3 pm when it is a multiple location project i e. North America and Europe and a lot of meetings happen around 4-6 pm. And a lot of people are rushing to finish stuff before that and want to work with you when they are available leading up to that.
I will have to work with them for periods between 10 am - 4 pm when they are available if there is collaboration needed. But yeah for my own individual work there is no restriction.
Are the above because of WFH culture and maybe the timings would have been different if it was wfo?
It would be more or less the same... Maybe could have walked in at 10 and out by 7.. could not have kept going back and forth from home right?
5-6 hours of meetings and overlap is required. The 2-3 would have been packed together with that 5-6 when wfo, now that 2-3 is full flexi across the day due to wfh .
