Changed hotels mid-trip. The second hotel is more expensive. First hotel was far and pretty gross (blood stains on carpet, broken shower, etc.) Will this be an issue to expense?

Silly question- but how do you work from home? I could do it in small amounts and with small projects with simple things. But I can’t do any type of excel work or testing on my small laptop. If my boyfriend pays me fair market value rent every month, can I claim this rental income and therefore take advantage of rental expense deductions and depreciation? If so, would expenses and repairs that apply to the home be counted at 50%? Did Deloitte have a late-night Uber policy before the pandemic? Joining in a month and also moving and wondering how much I should consider it. For context, my current company had a policy pre-pandemic where we could Uber home every time we worked after 7PM and we could expense meals as well during those days.

Hi Team, My expense entered last week under Well Being Subsidy was Processed but I have got a mail today from Compliance that the product is not eligible for the Well Being expense and the expense would be reversed, so shall I go ahead and add negative expense in the report and then buy something with that amount eligible under Well Being and raise the new reimbursement today? How does your school district deal with parent requests?

I need some unbiased perspective: four of us teach the same class and, as required, give common assessments. We discuss how many points assignments are worth, how much we curve each test, etc though we vary a bit here and there on all of these things. The problem is that one of us grades everything DRAMATICALLY easier. Their average on a 50 point assignment might be as much as 20 points higher than the other teachers. What do I tell parents who complain??
