I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.

Is it common to ask to take vacation during your notice period? If you’ve given notice and then asked for time off during the notice period, how did that go down?

Our firm has a flexible work from home policy for attorneys only. I’m in a small office and I feel guilty working from home when our paralegals cannot. One of our paralegals started just before the pandemic and feels entitled to work from home to the point where she threatens to leave over it.
