Hey, I have my interview scheduled for Technology Consulting job for SharePoint at Microsoft Services. HR said it is a coding round and the interview is named as HO interview. Can someone let me what kind of questions I can expect in the interview Microsoft . #Sharepoint #Microsoft #MicrosoftServices #Interview
Does novartis paused hiring ? I have completed all my rounds and have been waiting for an offer to roll out. But the recruitment team is saying hiring is on hold as review meetings are going we don't know when they will start it. Does anyone know when will they resume hiring process again.

We call it a “verbal offer” around here. 😄
Oral offer just hits different 😎
This is pretty common. They don’t want you shopping around with the written offer. As long as the verbal terms are to your liking just say that you will sign as long as the written terms match the verbal ones.

It’s to be respectful of folks’ time who have to carry out the legal process of putting together an employment contract (“offer letter”). From my perspective, it’s only shady if the terms agreed upon verbally don’t match what’s on paper.

To be fair, I did receive a document that reflected the numbers discussed, which was reassuring to your point. That said, the document had a disclaimer at the bottom explicitly stating this written offer doesn’t represent a binding agreement.
In short, the process was verbal offer —> informal written offer —> employment contract.

How are you supposed to accept an offer without knowing all the terms in detail?
The key reason behind the request usually the fact “conversion” is a typical KPI for recruiting teams and conversion is measured as accepted/extended (in writing) offers. So the recruiting team is just trying to manage their performance assessment by trying to reduce the chances of “no”.
Sounds shady as hell. I wouldn’t commit to anything without paperwork.
Just say you will and then you don't have to sign the offer.

Standard because it takes a while to run the offer through HR formal systems and they don’t want to show an L.
Sounds about right considering the amount of posts on here with people accepting an offer and then wanting to rescind because of something better coming along
A signed offer can be rescinded too 😒
That’s how FAANG recruiting is as well. I got a couple of offers and I had to verbally accept before they sent anything written
How is this different from verbal offer and them giving you few days to say yup you accept or not? That’s pretty standard!

It’s common. Nobody wants to deal with paperwork if the numbers don’t make sense.
Just say ‘Yes’ then review the written offer in entirety and proceed accordingly.
Congrats. Don’t over think it. You’re in charge now.
Just echoing the general sentiment here. Just go ahead and then review the written offer and make a decision as you see fit. Recruiting and employment is business - you are free to make your decisions just as employers make theirs.
Same goes for stepping back from an accepted offer imho. As long as you’re willing to accept the consequences in relationship with the company.
