I come from a purchasing/customer service background and graduating with my associates im drafting and design in a week. I don’t know how to tie those together. Hello, I’m a Senior Product Analyst working for a US Regional bank in Western New York. I got contacted by a recruiter to work for Infosys -Finacle as a Product Analyst. I have dual certifications as a Product Owner and Scrum Master, with 8 yrs Banking experience. The role will be a remote position but will need to travel to North Carolina once a month to meet with the Dev team. Is $100K annual salary a good start? On track to max out my 401k and will max my Roth IRA next month. I think I’ll have about 3k to invest by the end of this year before I can start putting contributions toward my 2022 Roth IRA. What do you guys think is the best place for that 3k? Should I max out my 401k faster? Diversify more into crypto (about 1/7 of my network)? One note is that I can’t do mega backdoor Roth.

Couple notes on my situation.

I recently passed the 1 MM NW mark and originally was planning on diversifying into REI once I hit this mark. However, with the pandemic I'm a little hesitant. For those Real Estate investors out there, how has the pandemic impacted your portfolio? Have vacancies risen noticeably or rents dropped dramatically? How has the moratorium on evictions impacted you?

I have about $45k cash on hand. Job looks pretty safe but I want a fall back in the event of job loss and / or recession. I have student loans of about that same amount on pause but at an 8% interest rate once they start up again.
What should I be doing with it?

Have money invested in S&P 500, and now starting to regret not having diversified to international stocks as well. Would want to diversify now to buy a total stock market index, however since S&P 500 dropped more than that index, not sure it’s worth to crystallize losses to do that. The alternative is to stop buying S&P 500 and start buying other markets as separate ETFs, to eventually bring in line approx. with total stock market index. Any advice on the best course of action?

What’s a reasonable fee for an accountant? Single filer, W2 employee. Simple investments but just need some help filing correctly given a move between states, a recent start to investing in more tax advantaged accounts and more etfs. Otherwise pretty simple. Should this be a few hundred dollars?

Is a 1 bedroom apartment big enough for a couple, especially if one primarily works from home? Thinking about moving in with my SO.

I’m moving out of the city that I’ve been in for the past 2 years. I have the option to move into a HCOL city with my friends or live at home with my parents in the suburbs. I know I’ll have way more fun & be happier with my friends in the city, but I’m going back to get my MBA in the fall of 2023 (already accepted) & can save >$40k if I live at home for a year and can use that for school. I’m 23 with no debt and $100k TC. Would love to hear some thoughts - is the extra $40k worth it?
