Booooooooooksssssss! I'm an avid reader and my summer is spent catching up on all the reading I didn't have time for in the 9 months of school. I'm currently on book 10 of a series I started a few weeks before school ended when we were doing literally nothing but reviewing for tests. My lesson plans were easy, my grading was easy, and I could actually relax for a little bit. Except for the few IEP's I had to work on, I was literally done for the year.
I volunteer at an animal shelter, in fact I am the owner and director so I am never bored in the summer it is our busiest time for wildlife to be rescued!!
I picked up crossstitch this year and checked out a ton of books from the library. We’re going swimming every day, going for walks in the mornings, doing mommy and me classes, weekly apps with friends, scheduled shopping trips, etc
I did what I call a home cleanse. I have gone through my closets and gathered bags of clothes to donate. I have also reorganized my kitchen and organized my teacher supplies that I brought home from work. I also plan to shampoo all of my carpets. After the cleanse, I plan to start lesson planner shopping, classroom decor shopping and even look into buying a few more pieces of clothing for the school year. Once I am able to access my caseload I am going to start to create the forms I need for documentation.
I am super excited to go in the mountains and hike, raft in rivers to charge up my body for the next school year😊
I wish there were places around me to do those things!! That sounds amazing!! :) super jealous.
I am going to go fishing and mud riding though. Definitely my type of fun!
You could work from home 2-3 hours a day. GOGOKID is a great company to work for from home and make easy money.

They pay 14-25 dollars an hour. (Actually, you get paid per class and each class is a quick 25 minute 1 on 1 lesson.)
I teach English to children in China and love it!
Gogokids is a blessing! To be able to work
only 1 hour a day Monday- Friday before going to my campus, works great with my schedule. I work a little more on the weekends and make 500-600 a month. I'm in the Central Time zone so I teach two 25 minute lessons that are provided before going to work at 7:30. (Some teachers make over 1,000 a month but they wake up and teach at 5:00 am and may also be in a different time zone.) Gogokid is super flexible. If you are interested click on the link below. I will be notified that u submitted your basic information. At that point, I can view your email and I can reach out to you with some helpful information. I will send you links to videos and pics.

Girl...same!!! I’m ALWAYS ready for summer and 2 weeks I’m like hmmm what do I do lol I’m not a big reader. I’ve picked up trying different coffee bars! I’m in Texas too :)
That’s a good thing!!! I’m teaching ESY for the first time in 12 years and almost regretting it!
I started a business as a life coach and will be hosting courses for teachers. Plus you will see me a lot on here. What do you think about a teacher conversation about summer to dos?
That sounds really awesome!!
