Don't know if I need all the bells and whistles of an iPhone 12. Is now a good time to get an iPhone 11, or maybe even an SE? For context I currently use Android (moto G7).

I’d vote for an iPhone 11 if you are a first time iOS user and not that committed yet. It’s incredibly discounted now but has so much more than an SE, especially camera wise. If you want you can probably keep this phone for the next 3-4 years with no problem. SE 2 is fine but it’s designed as a cheaper alternative. If 11 is already comparative in price, why SE. and I hope you’ll like iOS, I like it a lot, it’s a lot faster/smoother, and very intuitive to manipulate.

Feeling a little bit low-balled by a Bay Area public company offering me a role at 145K w/ 9years of experience. Will it sound ridiculous if I counter with $175K? It will still be a COL adjustment down, but more acceptable, especially with my partner relocating with me and him working remotely.

In case anyone would like to spare themselves a heart attack stroke and possibly spreading Covid to a large group of people as you run around screaming for help. If you child goes missing and doesn’t respond to you calling her name despite screaming it at the top of your lungs 50 times check under the blankets her room. She could be a very sound sleeper and entirely huddled under the blanket on the floor. Also don’t trust your 12 year old to check under the blanket either before calling 911.

When I got into the meeting room, the secretary stated the CEO wasn’t there because the meeting is virtual. It was my lucky day!
