Hey guys - does anyone have recommendations for Indian wavy 5x5 or 6x6 closures? I was going to order off of Amora Renae (https://www.amorarenaecollection.co/product/thin-swiss-lace-5x5-closure/) but they aren’t restocking. I’m still getting bundles from them, but clueless on another solid company that would have matching hair (friend is making me a wig bc of a natural hair crisis I’m having, I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to anything like this)!

If money's what you're after in consulting, you have to play the long game
I mean, someone has to take those jobs. And they generally require a degree. I think consultants in general think the availability 6 figure high impact jobs in industry is higher than it is. As commented above, if you're leaving for a promotion (senior to manager in industry or manager to director or director to VP/C-suite for a small company) then that's one thing, but going into industry straight out of college is rarely lucrative unless it's a high value stem position.
Long game would be atleast till the M level?
Developer at a consulting firm gets paid way less than a developer at an actual tech firm
@turinturambar81 if we compare entry-level through senior positions rather than exit opps, doing tech in tech is still better paid than doing tech in consulting
Senior non-management (approx 3 years exp) gets paid 6 figures easy in TC...Good luck finding a non-management non-engineering job in tech that pays better than 65k with that profile (coasts skew this a bit obviously).
@turinturambar81 Wouldn't I be looking at management/engineering jobs coming from tech consulting? In any case, I was getting offered 120 in Chicago when making 85 3 years in as a C -- if I'm lucky, I'll finally hit 120 6-7 years in at Deloitte
Long game is partner. Not director. Partner
I'm comparing equivalent positions not exit opps from consulting because that's not how the question was framed.
Only if you're an engineer. Entry level marketing, sales ops, other analysts are not making what consultants do
Would most tech consultants have been looking into those types of positions outside of consulting?
