Is that ever true?

Literally never

Never gonna happen. This is one of the many reasons 2020 salaries in our industry are the same as what we were making in 1998. Sad, but true.

100% true

Pumpkin pecan chocolate chip bread pudding. Had time dream up something to use up half a can of pumpkin. Good thing I took a picture right after I took it out of the oven - it’s delicious warm and I just ate a huge piece!

I already have a AWS cloud practitioner cert and an Azure foundation cert. Whenever I interview for cloud positions, there seems to be an interest in GCP.
As a firm, I like Google & their moonshot ideas. I dream of one day joining the elite team. Is the firm really worth the hype? @AWS

Any account sup roles in NYC? Non-pharma please

Hi all, I’m currently at B of A in the Raleigh NC area and looking for a remote/hybrid role. I have 14 YOE with the majority of that in retail leadership. Most recently I’ve led a team of 50 remotely in support of business banking. I’m looking for an ops focused or business banking strategy role in the Raleigh area. Any insight or feedback is appreciated!

I’m a single mother with no help from the father. I currently go to school and have a full time job. I just found out my car needs a repair that’s 2300. The car is 21 years old and on its way out. I can barely make ends meet as is. What side gigs has anyone found that work for them? I’m straight up about to start working at the club.

CFP, asking advisors out more than five years... has it really made a difference in your career growth/AUM and how clients perceive you? I guess I’m asking, was it really worth it?

I’m a pharmacist and currently doing an MBA. I have only 2 YOE as a pharmacist and I’m trying to find a career path that will suit me. I completely regret choosing pharmacy and I want to reorient myself. Any advices as where to start applying? ( FYI I particularly enjoyed finance during the master)

HR from old job wants to reach out to me about something I mentioned in my exit interview. Why would HR want to reach out to me when I’m no longer employed? Been at my new company for a month now. I left bc my old boss was not good. I dealt with HR in past about the issues with my boss & team for months but of course HR was no help resolving the issue. Should I tell HR to shove it & don’t contact me again? I said what needed to be said. I’m very happy in my new job btw.

How Amazon & Microsoft & Google companies are giving solution architect roles to people who are having less than 3 years of industry experience? Is it really they are so much talented or am I missing something? 🤔

I was recently promoted, and now part of my team report to me. I'm now able to see their pay rates and I am honestly so disappointed in the company. Especially since we just gave annual raises in Feb, plus we can all see where the money is going and it's not to the employees. Makes me sick
