How would you make the business case for adding more diversity to the workforce. I think we take it as a given that people will support this, but some people need to see $$ and #s to be moved.
Do NOT claim you are "colorblind" in the workplace. 1. DE&I knowledge is now a core leadership competency. Colorblind claims will earn you the reputation of being DEI-ignorant at best & racist at worst. 2. Colorblindness within the context of workplace diversity is an obvious lie. You do NOT want to be painted as an intellectually dishonest leader. 3. Colorblind claims signal that you lack the leadership skills & vocabulary to have key conversations. Ask questions here, in this safe space.

A lot of companies put out ads or talked about policy or internal changes in response to the BLM movement. I’m wondering if, beyond the immediate ads and statements that were released this actually continued. What are some things your agency has done… or could do to make a real impact in the realm of Diversity, equity and inclusions (DEI).
When it comes to recruiting, is it good for the industry when the first word out of HR is "diversity" and not "talent?"

What is the point of HR? Supposedly champions diversity and ⬇️pay gap??? I’m on the inside -all but 1 of new leaders got £30K pay rises. The 1 who didn’t is female,muslim, POC, 40+ -expose them or not?
Student debt crisis solution: Instead of Federal government backing student loans we shift it to the endowments to give the schools some skin in the game. Should bring down runaway tuition inflation and all of these whacky programs like Bachelor of Mystic Arts in Salamander Gender Disparity. Payback structure should look like the income sharing agreements that are popping up in startup world to replenish endowments.
By now, nearly every CEO of a major company has made some public statement or proclamation of their commitment to racial equality, diversity, and such matters. What percent of those do you believe truly comes from the heart and a bias for both personal and corporate action, versus a necessary public relations response with little personal ownership? My view: about 30%. That is still a great number, because it’s far higher than zero.
