I’m about to start at McKinsey & Company and I got an email telling me to apply for my corporate card. I can get an Amex green for free, but can upgrade to the platinum for a fee. I was thinking about upgrading it to max out points, but then I read that I can’t use the corporate card for personal expenses. I’m responsible for the card & payments, so can I use it for personal and only submit reimbursements for work charges? And do you get to keep the points on a corporate card? TIA!

Just had a negotiation end. I am proud of myself though, for valuing my skills. I had a company offer me less money than I’m currently making….and while the role would’ve been great, we are in an era of high inflation and gas prices. I also would’ve been leaving a totally remote role to go to a hybrid role, so I had to factor gas prices in as well. Moral of the story, value yourself and your skills!! And stand your ground even if it’s a very well known company.

Hi folks I'm moving to Austin from Chicago and looking to get a used car. Want something fun to drive and found a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia sport for less than 29k which is right in my budget; 41k miles, clean history. Any thoughts on the car/model itself, and whether it's a good enough city car? Primarily will be used daily for a 30-40 minute commute and errands plus weekend drives now and then. Thanks in advance auto friends!
