I delivered in the midst of summer but still had pants in the hospital. I bought black maternity pants from Target that are SO comfortable. I’m 5 months PP, almost back to my pre-baby weight and they are still my favorite too. I was not a c-section though.

Search Amazon for nursing dress. There are a ton of options. I had two c-section babies in winter and they were great!

I had C section in dead winter read mid Jan in east coast. I wore button down night shirt for day 1-3 and only was able to wear pants on day 4 and before leaving hospital. Strongly recommend getting a shawl, poncho or woolen wrap around because I had worst contractions post delivery (way worse than period cramps) and hot water bag and woolen wrap around were my saviors. Also easy to breast feed with button down shirt. Also get a woolen cap in case you have a vent right on top of your bed (happened with me)…

Due in a few weeks and I’m bringing a nightgown for nursing in the hospital and then a long maxi dress and loose mat pants and sweater as options to wear home (you never know if you’ll have a c section so I figured prudent to pack a dress / something without a waste band).
I delivered my first in December. I bought a cheap but soft and thick fleece robe to wear over my hospital gown. And wore cozy thick socks with tread. I changed back into regular clothes as soon as I gave birth - yoga pants and a nursing bra/tank.

I wore lululemon aligns and t shirts. I brought warm slippers as well for walking around the room. Purchased a soft sweater type oversized cardigan and lived in that as well. Everything i brought was black so nothing would get stained.
I didn’t wear anything else the entire time but had brought a bag of clothes. If i were to do it again, 1-2 pairs of leggings, 1-2 shirts, my sweater thing… that’s it.
I did bring a button down shirt but someone was checking me over so frequently that it was just easier to pull my shirt up than deal with the buttons
