Hi everyone! Anyone in PwC’s Value Creation able to help and discuss qualifications required? I’m looking for a role in which I can use my Ops and manufacturing background for topics such as supply chain, cost reduction, performance improvement and Six Sigma to help increase value. I’m looking at the experienced associate level - could anyone refer if there is a match and or need? Also, is this Advisory or Strategy&? Thank you all! PwC

lOwEr PrOdUcTiViTy - sure! Because many probably don’t bend over to the whims and fancies of their bosses 24-7?
From the questions he asked it sounds like he is trying to figure out why this is. And TBH we are seeing the same thing at my company and wondering the same things - is it that more was learned in the office (maybe even subconsciously) than we thought? Is it that our managers & directors didn't really get any training on managing remotely and it's a different skill set? Is it that questions that normally got answered in the 2 minute walk to the fridge go unanswered now that the day is blocked with back to back to back calls?
Of course. Many managers didn’t adapt to the new way of working. It’s not totally their fault—it’s been a stressful couple of years—but it’s also their fault they aren’t engaging with new staff. I see it at my company too. These A-types love talking and being seen, but don’t make the effort to reach out and engage with the remote workers.

These blowhards will say anything. No actual data provided on how they measured this and he literally said the opposite last year.
The blame doesn’t lie with those individuals that were hired to immediately know how to be productive in a remote environment. That’s on their managers - buck stops there, plain and simple.
Also, ironic that one of the co-authors of a book on successful hybrid/remote work (How The Future Works: Leading Flexible Teams To Do The Best Work Of Their Lives) was written by a Slack VP, which Salesforce owns.
Exactly. Many (but not all) managers like to take all the credit and none of the blame.

Salesforce is a cult. You know how most cults end up.
My team grew by 14 people during the pandemic and only maybe 2 out of all of those people worked "less hard." I haven't found that the pandemic has changed working habits. It's given people their lives back which in turn has created happier working environments.
Same here. We have found some really good hires. Because we made the effort to engage with them.
This is a fluff piece. If Big B’s VP/ Ds cannot solve this challenge then time to get a new bench
This underperforming group of employees cannot be a broad stroke across sales to service delivery to back office, else there would be articles about Salesforce’s upset customers
