Amazon Proserve vs. Google Gtech vs. Google Contractor How do these stack up against each other in terms of experience and opportunity? Curious as to views on alt. inv. Anyone stray off the beaten path with any of the below? 1.) Bitcoin mining (aka worth the initial investment in the hardware?) 2.) real estate REITs - most likely through Fundrise 3.) peer-2-peer lending. 4.) cryptocurrencies 5.) franchising a (cheap) business 26M, debating if any of them will yield higher returns than my VTTSX fund, which I invest in through both 401k & Roth. Curious as to your guys thoughts.
I’m going in for a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to find out if I have lymphoma. Am I supposed to like... work if I’m diagnosed? Our company has short term and long term disability leave options but idk. I’d love time off work but not at the expense of cancer (joking to try and get through today)

In one of the big public sector consulting firms (Deloitte, Accenture, Booz). If I were to get into MBB, at how many YOE can I expect to be onboarded with a post-MBA level salary (150ish)? Is it...

Immigration 🐠 - If I have an I140, how difficult is it to get an F1 visa to pursue an MBA? After the MBA, should I go through the H1B lottery process again? What happens to my spot in the GC queue?
What's a good percentage range for a raise when going from mid to senior level in the agency world (or RZF specifically)?
Can somebody please explain to me why MBB and other top consulting firms are so adamant that you have an MBA? I majored in accounting, finance, and operations management at a top 10 undergrad business school and then got my masters in information systems from the grad school program. I took multiple MBA courses as electives when getting my masters and it seemed like those classes were very basic and easy. Idk if I would learn anything in an MBA program that I hadn’t already learned in undergrad
Any tips for someone who discounts good feedback but heavily focuses on the opportunities to improve? So much that I have a fear of getting fired despite receiving overall good feedback. I started a new job earlier this year. The function of the role and industry is new to me. My manager told me he generally has higher expectations than the rest of the organization. Originally, I viewed this as a great learning opportunity but can't help to think I'm not cut out for this and fear the worst.
