Hello everyone,
I have recently been hired as an Engineer Trainee from campus placements. The Job Description mentions both AI/ML and software development domains. I am more into the AI/ML side, but it seems that the team I am assigned to, is more into the software development side.
Is it possible that:
1. I get tasks on the AI/ML side in my current team?
2. Is there a way to switch to another team which works more on the AI/ML side? And will it be easy?

Are you really fully productive for 18 hours days?
I would personally look elsewhere
When you’re on salary you can’t calculate your hourly rate and use that for anything. Don’t forget you’re getting paid for PTO, holidays, days work is slow, health insurance and any other benefits your company provides. That being said you should leave any job that has you working 18 hour days. Who wants to live their one life like that?
I’d look elsewhere with around the same pay but way better hours. At the end of the day these long hours add up. I consider every hour I work past midnight one hour less of my life span myself (might not have scientific proof but it’s how I like to think).
