👨👦+👨👧👧=🤪 I learned 48 hours ago that my wife and I are having twins! I’m struggling with emotions if you can believe it. I’m SO excited because I ADORE my two-year-old son, but it also means a million other things will change. And COVID isn’t going to make things any easier. Any words of wisdom? Has anyone else been in a similar situation and have learnings/insight to share?

Crowdsourcing for some advice! Which is better for someone who is still somewhat early in their career: 1) Go to a mid-size/tier 2 firm with a solid reputation and knowing you’ll learn a ton (reputation for culture is pretty good too), but have little WLB and be potentially seen as a pawn in the group or 2) go to a small boutique firm that emphasizes their WLB and culture and you know the leadership, but company is super small and relatively unknown, scope of projects potentially limited
Just received a verbal beat down from the client for something that is specifically listed in our agreement as theirs to own. Headed to dinner to mainline some wine. 🙋🏻♀️🍷
