“[driver name] is hard of hearing” notification when booking an Uber/Lyft, then driver proceeds to have lovely conversation over blaring music. Since it happened a couple of times already, is there a chance they are not hard of hearing and are just exploiting some loophole in Uber/Lyft’s policies? Genuinely curious to either find out something new about hearing disabilities or figure out why you’d pretend to have one.

It’s annual review season, folks. Curious to know the raise percentage you’ve all received for 2022 (if at all). I received a 12% raise for the new year (and additional equity) and trying to ballpark if this is average or extremely generous. 15% was my initial goal.

Hello All, we’re looking for 2 Administrative Assistants. Hybrid schedule in NYC. Mostly in office (4 In office, 1 day remote). MUST HAVE steady Financial Services experience working on trading floor supporting a team. 80-90k plus OT. PM me if you have the above experience.

I feel like I should wear a shirt to work that says “read your assistants emails before asking questions”. One of my bosses asked for a travel change and I sent them the times and prices per class types.
Their next three emails? Answered one question per email. So after they said time I asked which class, they asked the prices (which I copy pasted from the previous message) and then they asked if the prices were less for the other flights, and then they chose one. Five hours later. READ!

Curious about what other executive assistants get paid? Not sure if is is within the allowed rules of Fishbowl… I am feeling quite underpaid at the moment.
