Do you have access to VR goggles? If so, there are a ton of apps that you could use with them and students truly retain because they “see” what the areas look like. They are mostly free and National Geo has some fabulous free ones. Also, Discovery Education does as well.
I don’t have VR goggles. I’m looking more for kids to know where certain items are located vs what they look like. The googles sound great when I’m looking at a specific spot though (like when I cover the Alamo or Independence Hall). Thanks for the idea.
Discovery Education is great if your school has a subscription. If they don’t, urge them to consider it. Great for all learners, but especially ELLs & SWD.
